My attention has been drawn to a publication on graphic online as well as some other portals dated 29th January, 2025 on the above caption pertaining to an alleged court proceedings against my person and some others. The publication alleged that I have been involved in tax fraud against one Mr Ababio and a warrant has been issued for my arrest.
I wish to state that I have not been engaged in any activity of that sought. In fact, I have been out of the jurisdiction attending to some personal pressing issues. The content of the said publication is highly regrettable, unfortunate and a malicious act of persons who find me as a threat to their political ambition.
I wish to emphatically state that I do not work with GRA and as such would make no such representation. It is also worth mentioning that the GRA has a portal through which all payments are made. It is therefore unfortunate that a businessman who is well vest in matters relating to tax obligations would allegedly be a complainant who would present such a case to the police in the first place.
I wish to assure my sympathizers of my desire to clear my name and also thank them for their unwavering support.
Signed, Collins Amoah
