A brace from Ronald Numeyah has secured a spot for Ho-based Home Stars Football Club in the Adonai Estate Volta Division Two Middle League.
Freedom Fighters Football Club could not equalize the 22nd and 74th-minute goals from the lead striker and captain of the Stars.
Dynamo Football Club and Selion Football Club shared spoils in an earlier encounter at the Ho Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Home Stars sits on top of the Central Zone sub-middle league table with 6 points and 3 goals. Dynamo occupies the second position with 4 points, and 1 goal, with Selion FC in the 3rd position with a point, while Freedom Fighters settled in the last position with no point.

Ronald Numeyah has been in top form scoring 17 goals in 13 fixtures in the 2022/2023 season, thereby playing a vital role in the team's splendid performance this season.Â
Home Stars secured qualification to the sub-middle league after winning 13 out of 14 fixtures and scoring 35 goals, the highest in the main Adonai Estate Volta Division Two League. The Stars lost one game and conceded 6 goals.
The team booked a place in the Middle League for the third consecutive time under the guidance of Coach Christian Chibueze, after winning the first two matches of the sub-middle league.
The team is expecting to make its support base across the region proud by qualifying for the Division One League next season.
