From humble beginnings, Rose Aluminium Company Ltd formerly Parkview Aluminium Ltd has grown from just a local manufacturing firm to an international brand that is making waves across the West African sub-region. Three decades ago, Ms. Vivian Serwaa Adu birthed Rose Aluminium from the streets of the Makola market. At the time when she was one of Akosombo Textile Limited’s key distributors, she knew that she was building a legacy that will create jobs and keep the wheels of export going.

Today, Rose Aluminium Company Limited is one of the oldest and leading aluminium companies in the West African sub region, manufacturing premium aluminium hollowware from aluminium circles. The aluminium circles used for production was primarily sourced from Aluworks Ltd till their supply alone could not support their capacity.

Rose Aluminium Company Limited is a Limited Liability Company established and registered under the provisions of Section 27 and 28 of the Companies Code Act 1963, Act 179 of the Laws of Ghana with the registrar of Companies.

The Company was founded by Ms. Vivian Serwaa Adu in the year 1993. Ms. Adu is a serial entrepreneur with over forty (40) years’ experience in diverse businesses from retail to manufacturing to real estate development.

“From the very onset when the machines started producing, it sounded like music to my ears. It is not the doing of man, but it is the grace of God that has brought this company to this level”, Madam Vivian Adu said to an audience during the 30th anniversary celebration of the company which coincided with her 65th Birthday celebration.

Narrating how it all began, Madam Vivian Adu said the company was originally registered and operated under the name of PARKVIEW ALUMINIUM COMPANY LIMITED till it rebranded in the year 2007 to ROSE ALUMINIUM COMPANY LIMITED to continue its operations and functions. Currently the factory is located on Plot 59, Motorway Industrial Area, Spintex Road-Accra with its depots in the Ashaiman Timber Market, Kasoa, Kumasi, Koforidua, Takoradi and Tamale to aid in the effective distribution of its products nationwide.

Rose Aluminium Company Ltd sources its raw materials from Mainland China and occasionally from other local importers of the raw material.
The company is a well-known brand with a presence in all the major markets across all the regions in Ghana.

“Thirty years of operations is just the beginning. The aim of the company in to grow more and expand across the continent. Currently, we engage in both direct and indirect export to neighbouring countries like Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. We hope to go beyond these countries in the near future”, Executive Director of the company, Barima Osei-Bonsu told Joy Business.

According to him, the company can now boast of a staff strength of about 50 workers across different facets of the business with a production capacity of over 100 tons a month.

“For me what excites me is that I get to work with my team of highly skilled personnel to produce premium aluminium hollowware that is widely accepted by all our patrons in Ghana and the rest of the West African sub-region”.

Mr. Osei-Bonsu added that the company has been a pivot in exporting to other countries, helping the country rake in foreign income.
