The landlord of Ghana music Micheal Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie thrilled students at the SRC week celebration held at Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School in Kumasi.

Dubbed “Hiped To The Apex”, the event, was attended by hundreds of students from Prempeh College, Osei Tutu Senior High School, KNUST Senior High School, Armed Forces Senior High School, Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) and other schools in the Ashanti Region.

The event held over the weekend was put together by Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School Representative Council, Sarkcess Music and High School Clique in Kumasi.

This is part of the musician’s Take. A stand Now Tour in Ghana with the youth.

It had as an underlining aim to encourage students to take good advantage of today’s internet and walk on paths devoid of its negatives.

The very successful and powerful event was under the theme “The Internet, A Master of Technology, A Thief of Time” positive and negative impacts of the Internet on students' academics.

He exhibited great showmanship as he engaged fans to sing along with him throughout his performances on stage.

Among other activities, there was the crowing of the Miss 2023, Adehye Excellence Awards and a lot of other fun activities.

It was an action-packed day which offered an opportunity for the student artists and entertainers to also exhibit their talents by displaying mind-blowing performances on stage.

Sarkodie left no stone unturned at the show as he gave out hits in continuity to thrill students and fans gathered at the event.

The students boogied the day away amid loud cheers and applause.
