With over 6000 votes cast, Sarkodie’s ‘Fa Hooki Me’ featuring Tulenkey, which was released on April 22, came in first. The song claimed 47.7% of the votes.
Many people said they loved how the duo brought back the azonto tune and vibe which seem to have faded away some years back.
African party by Stonebwoy came in next second with 28.2% of the votes. The songs was released early in March and is also featured on Stonebwoy’s new album Anloga Junction.
Shatta Wale’s ‘Fa Pim So’, which was also released on April 22, came in third with 14.1% of the votes. Although his fans are impressed with the song, they were late to the polls.
Behind the Scenes by Kofi Kinaata came in fourth with 10% of the votes. However, many fans of the rapper are unhappy the song was featured on the poll.
According to one user, “Kinaata's track takes a different direction. Not some usual club jam. It's communicating to some people. A music for the soul.”
“Kinatta behind the scenes speaks to we the hustlers and the downtrodden. Lyrical dexterity at play,’@Bogyafaya1 also wrote.
