The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has lauded Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam for his commendable efforts and encouraged him to maintain his momentum.
During a visit to the Manhyia Palace to mark his 74th Birthday and 25 years of distinguished leadership, the Asantehene expressed his satisfaction with Dr. Amin Adam's dedication to his duties.
He stated the importance of meeting the high expectations of Ghanaians, praising the Minister for living up to these standards since seeking his blessing upon appointment.
"I have no doubt about your competence and commitment to your work. Your impressive performance and working visits to various institutions give us assurance that the economy will recover from the current situation. Don’t relax; keep up the good work," urged Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
He also commended the collaboration between Dr Amin Adam and the leadership of the Bank of Ghana, expressing confidence in the positive impact of their measures to restore economic confidence.
Dr. Amin Adam, in response, thanked the Asantehene for his immense contributions to Ghana's growth and development.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the Asantehene's milestone and praised his exemplary leadership.
"Nana, we are here to thank you for your kind words. I can assure you that, together with my team, we will live up to your expectations and ensure we put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians," assured Dr. Amin Adam.
