The Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency is excitedly over its recent developments, thanks to Sylvester Tetteh, affectionately known as “Sly.”
His tireless work over the past three years has transformed the area, particularly with the addition of a FIFA-standard Astroturf in Tuba, a predominantly Muslim community near Kokrobite.

The 5,000-seater facility, now adopted by Premiership side Dreams FC and potentially the Great Olympics, is a centrepiece for sports and recreation.
With two changing rooms, VVIP stands, and floodlights, it’s designed to serve local teams and aspiring athletes.
Mr Tetteh sees the Astroturf as a powerful social intervention, fostering talent and promoting a healthy lifestyle in the community.

The MP highlighted the positive impact in an interview.
“The Astroturf is among many social intervention programs my team and I have implemented, and it’s fulfilling its goal of nurturing talent and serving as a community recreation hub.”
Beyond sports, Mr Tetteh is also addressing essential infrastructure, such as road improvements.

The road from Old Barrier to Kokrobite, notorious for its poor condition, is being revitalised—a crucial step that could unleash the area’s tourism potential, especially with Kokrobite’s popular beaches.
