AS Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu has been rewarded for his outstanding display in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Galatasaray, earning a spot in the Matchday 6 Team of the Week.
The Ghana international delivered another commanding performance at the heart of Monaco’s defence, helping the French side secure a hard-fought 1–0 victory over the Turkish giants. His selection comes just weeks after picking up a Man of the Match award against Pafos FC in the previous round, underscoring his impressive run of form.
Salisu was named alongside Barcelona’s Jules Koundé, Manchester City’s O’Reilly, and Atlético Madrid’s David Hancko to form the Team of the Week’s back four.
