Former President John Dramani Mahama has asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) possesses the experience and the competent individuals needed to develop Ghana.
During a courtesy visit to the chiefs and elders of Wenchi in the Bono Region on Friday, November 17, as part of his Building Ghana Tour, Mr Mahama insisted that the NDC stands as the sole development-oriented party in Ghana, consistently contributing to the country's comprehensive progress whenever in power.
"We have the experience and the people to do the work," Mr. Mahama affirmed.

He highlighted what he said is a distinguishing factor between the NDC and the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), stating that the NDC does not make promises it cannot fulfil.
In contrast, Mr Mahama suggested that the NPP tends to make commitments that may not be realised.
"We are not like them; we don't promise when we know we can't deliver. We don't just promise; we keep them. NDC is the only development-oriented party," he declared.
Already, two UK-based research firms, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and Fitch Solutions, are forecasting victory for John Mahama in the upcoming 2024 Presidential elections.
The EIU has predicted a potential shift of power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). This anticipated change, as outlined by the EIU, is attributed to factors such as declining living standards, limited job opportunities, and subpar public services in Ghana.
