A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Manifesto Committee, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has expressed strong confidence in the party’s success at the upcoming 2024 general elections.
He is convinced that the NDC is on track to secure victory as the election date draws closer.
In an interview on Channel One TV on Tuesday, November 26, the former Sports Minister emphasised the importance of active campaigning to garner votes, rather than becoming complacent.
He stressed that consistent effort and engagement with voters are key to achieving electoral success.
“As for elections, we are on course to massive, unprecedented victory. But again, from my experience, I will tell you that these are the most sensitive days in an election."
“We’re cruising, victory is beckoning at us. But this is where we need to intensify our efforts, in terms of campaign, in terms of all the activations, messaging has to be tighter, and in terms of preparing for the actual day of polls."
“This is where we are now, we’re beginning to make our closing arguments to the panel and also putting in place the necessary structures for what we will do on the day,” he said.
