The Network of Persons Living With HIV/AIDS is appealing to stakeholders to intervene in the clearance of products worth US$40 million to avert their destruction.
In a statement sighted by JoyNews, the group said the destruction of the drugs will result in massive stockouts of key commodities and interrupt vital health services.
They are therefore calling on stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health (MoH), Ghana Health Service (GHS), Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM), and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), to intervene immediately since the drugs are at risk of being destroyed if not cleared within 24 hours.
