The Ashanti Region chapter of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) has released a shortlist of journalists nominated for honours on May 31.
The 21 shortlisted nominees reveal multiple names of journalists from the Multimedia Group lead names of journalists from other media houses.
Asenso Mensah, Kwasi Debrah, Erastus Asare Donkor, Mahmud Mohammed-Nurudeen, Nana Yaw Gyimah and Prince Appiah, all Multimedia Group journalists, are up for the awards.
The Awards Committee of the Ashanti Region GJA sifted out the 21 shortlisted nominees from a total of 99 entries in 24 categories from 11 media houses.
The awards event next month is on the theme, “The Media’s Mandate in Fostering Environmental Sanitation.”
