Wife of the Vice-President, Samira Bawumia, will make her debut appearance at August’s edition of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES) this year.
Samira Bawumia is expected to engage the youth in a conversation, motivate, listen and share amazing ideas that will propel the nation to greater heights.
The event will take place at the National Theatre from August 21 to August 23.
iYES, a non-profit organisation, has been created to encourage the youth, aspiring entrepreneurs and top class personalities in Ghana to network and share ideas in an environment aimed at shaping the youth’s intellectual, spiritual and emotional growth.
It also brings the youth of Ghana from all walks of life and motivates them to achieve their dreams while developing leadership skills through seminars, practical opportunities and revival summits.
iYES organised by the Brian Jones Ministries and powered by Joy Prime and Hitz FM this year, marks its fifth anniversary.
Also on the bill to speak at the event is C.E.O of the National Youth Authority, Emmanuel Asigiri, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Nigerian actress, Chioma Akpotha and C.E.O of EIB Network, Bola Ray.
The panel of speakers will also feature C.E.O of Rigworld International Services, Dr Kofi Abban as well as Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korley Constituency, Zanetor Rawlings.
Pastor Brian Amoateng, Founder of Brian Jones Ministries, will be joined by Pastor Samson Amoateng and Pastor Daniel Amoateng at the event.
There will be two sessions each day for the program in Accra. Morning sessions begin at 8:30 am with evening sessions commencing at 5:30 pm.
