The President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has cut the sod for the construction of a regional education office in the Oti region.
The project which is due in October 2020 is being constructed by SEMAA Construction Engineering Limited.

The office complex when completed will have offices, bungalows to accommodate senior staff.

On Sunday, the President inaugurated the office complex for the business development centre at Kadjebi.
These events were part of the activities that characterised the President’s two-day tour of the region.
At Jasikan, President expressed his appreciation to the Headmaster of Bueman Senior High School for his promise to ensure the first batch of the free Senior High School students gets adequate passes to get them into higher institutions.
He stated that the performance of these students would convince the country that the opening up of education in Ghana is perfect for the future of the country.
“Make use of this opportunity and play as well. They say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,” he counselled the students present at the durbar.
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo stated that infrastructural development in the region could be greatly improved if his government was given four more years to do more.
