Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has announced the date for his Faith concert – aimed at entertaining people during the lockdown.
The hour-long event will take place on Saturday, April 4, in the artiste’s home. He is, however, expected to stream the concert on his YouTube handle.
“In this pandemic, I want my fans around the globe to have that hope that everything is soon going to be okay and that I still have them in mind and in heart,” he wrote on Instagram.
The show will begin at 8 pm and end at 9 pm. Shatta Wale has already begun prepping for his live concert.
The Borjor hitmaker also used the opportunity to urge fans to stay abide by the health directories and stay at home to avoid spreading the coronavirus.
Shatta Wale first announced he will be holding the digital concert when Ghana began dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
The ‘Baby’ hitmaker is not the only artiste taking on this initiative to provide entertainment while the world deals with coronavirus.
Multiple Grammy Award winner John Legend, Charlie Puth, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Anne Marie, Shawn Mendes and others have organised their own concerts live on Instagram for their fans and followers.
