Somalia's police spokesperson, Sadiq Adan Ali Dodishe, on Tuesday survived a roadside bombing in the capital, Mogadishu, privately-owned Radio Dalsan website has reported.
"A land mine had been buried in the side of the road, and it targeted a vehicle the Somali police spokesman was in as it passed near the 21 October road in Waberi District," the website added.
"Somali police officials said the spokesman survived the explosion attack and is doing well, but shrapnel damaged his vehicle," Radio Dalsan said.
Only one woman, who was at the scene, was reportedly wounded.
No group has said it carried out the attack..
