A member of Nana Addo’s Legal Team, Frank Davies has entreated Ghanaians to stand by the verdict of the Supreme Court on the 2020 election petition.
Mr Davies prayed "that Ghanaians accept the rendition of the Supreme Court in the Supreme interest of justice so that governance of the country can continue in these challenging times.”
"We want to entreat all Ghanaians to abide by the decision of the Supreme Court of the land. We thank our good friends on the other side for their bravery in mounting this petition, albeit, we all found that the petition indeed contained nothing but factual errors and inaccuracies," he stated.
His comment comes after a seven-member panel of Supreme Court Judges in a unanimous decision dismissed the election petition filed by the 2020 NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama on the basis of no merit.
Addressing the media in a press briefing Thursday, Mr Davies said the petitioner can seek other means to challenge the verdict of the Supreme Court should Mr Mahama choose to do so, adding, however, that every litigation must always come to an end.
"There are other means to challenge their verdict, that is if the petitioner is want to do so.
However, from where they stand "We want to believe that this is the end of 2020 election petition".
He further acknowledged the petitioner and his team of legal experts for their bravery in mounting the 2020 election petition.
