About 285 Residents have been displaced by Rainstorm at Alhassankura, a suburb of Damongo in the West Gonja Municipality.
These include 145 children and some 90 women of the community in the Savannah Region.
Three of the women were injured while 82 households were denied their homes in the storm.
Both public and private properties such as buildings, metal containers and shops were also hit with some houses roofs completely ripped off and their walls broken.

But at the time of Myjoyonline’s visit, many households had already began reconstruction with few still counting their losses.
The West Gonja Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Authority, Adam Davug said the impact on the ground is very merciful and needs agent attention.
"When we got to the Community, People that have two or three houses were completely rift off. It was just a mess when we got there. The victims really need the public and NADMO support.

"Previously, it was the MP, the Land and Natural Resources Minister, Abu Jinapor who supported us. So we have drawn his attention with the details compiled and hope he comes to the aid of the community."
Some victims who were still reconstructing, shared their plights with Myjoyonline.
"I was not at home when the storm hits us. And when I got here, the whole of the building that housed my grinding mail was completely rift off exposing the machines to the rain. Fortunately, people were not inside otherwise, it would have been a disaster," Mr. Nuhu stated.
Mr. Gbolo Ebenezer is a software Developer and he says, "Yes, I'm a software specialist and my room and veranda are affected. All laptops, Computers in the rooms are also affected. A Woman living with her Children in a three bedroom house over there is completely rift off."
