In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, he said, "I always work hard. I am still an underground artist, and I always say this. I have not achieved one per cent of what I even want, so I have to put in more work."
The 'La Hustle' hitmaker said that he has dreams of leaving a huge legacy in the music industry.
"I want my music to be very impactful. I want people to look up to Medikal. If not for my music, then for my lifestyle," he added.
Opening up on why he shoots music videos for most of his songs, Medikal said that he has to spend money to shoot very quality videos to win more fans and attention.
"Nobody works for free. Even people pay for attention. Most of my recent videos were directed by Yaw Skyface. It’s not a joke brand and the more you fuel the fire the more the flames. I feel like I always have to work hard."
