The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has delivered the Mid-Year budget review to Parliament.
This is in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921), which mandates the Ministry to undertake the presentation not later than July 31, of each financial year.
According to him, the country is back on track despite the ravaging effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He further indicated that government intends to resolve unemployment through its "One Million Job Initiative".
Among others, Mr Ofori-Atta promised that government will not spend more, thus, no new taxes will be introduced.
