An articulated truck has been involved in an accident on the Accra-Nsawam highway near the Axle Weighing Center. This is according to the Ghana Police Service.
The vehicle with registration number AS 4573-17 has blocked a section of the highway, thus preventing other vehicles from moving.
The Ghana Police Service has, therefore, urged members of the public to follow all temporary alternatives routes.
A team of police officers are currently at the scene ensuring that the vehicle is taken off the road in the shortest possible time.
Further updates according to the police will be provided in due course.
