Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu has sworn into office, a new Governing Board for the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The Board, chaired by Dr. David Nkansa-Dwamena will steer the affairs of the country’s premier health institution by giving strategic direction to the Management.
In a video sighted on the Hospital's twitter page today, the Minister thanked the Board members for accepting to allow the Hospital benefit from their rich knowledge and skills.

He assured them that government is committed to expanding facilities in the KBTH strategically.
He added that the government would continue to invest in Korle-Bu and remodel some of the old buildings.
Chairman of the Board, Dr. David Nkansa-Dwamena in his acceptance speech assured the Minister that the Board will work towards making Korle-Bu more efficient by the end of their tenure.

The new Board members include; Dr. Opoku W. Ampomah, Mr. Jerry A. Shaib, Dr. Radha M.O.Hackman, Dr. Michael Owusu, Mr. Albert W. Arkoh, Mrs. Hannah A.O.Acquah, Prof Margaret Y. Lartey, Rev. Prof. Patrick F.K. Ayeh-Kumi, Mr. Charles N. Ofori and Mr. Samuel A. Odame.
