Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak will play the first of three outstanding league games of the 2021/22 season when they play host to Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.
The Rainbow club after a poor start to the campaign is yet to any of their last four games across all competitions on the domestic scene since the 2-0 loss to AshantiGold in the top-flight.
During that run, Hearts have won three times including a 1-0 win over Accra Lions in the MTN FA Cup, while their last league game saw them score a late equaliser to record a 2-2 draw away to Dreams FC.
Chelsea on the other hand is yet to find consistency in their opening nine games in the league. The Berekum-based side is hoping to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season with a victory over Hearts in midweek.
The Blues saw off competition from AshGold in their last league encounter, beating them by a goal to nil through Stephen Badu's first-half goal from the penalty spot.
Chelsea has won two of their last four meetings with Hearts, with the Accra-based side boasting of just one win in that period - a 2-0 win at the Accra Sports Stadium last season having seen the reverse fixture end goalless.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
