Nigerian artiste, Davido, has expressed gratitude to FIFA for allowing him to be a part of the team that worked on this year's official soundtrack for the World Cup.
In a number of tweets related to the soundtrack; Hayya Hayya meaning Better Together, Davido wrote: "I'm honoured to be featured on the official FIFA World Cup 2022 Soundtrack."
According to him, the collaboration with Trinidad Cardona and Aisha is a success for Africa.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack kicks off today with the release of the single Hayya Hayya ahead of tonight’s final draw for the tournament.
Hayya Hayya was released by Def Jam Recordings and produced by RedOne.
On its website, FIFA noted that Hayya Hayya is the first in a selection of soundtrack singles that will hit the airwaves over the coming months, as anticipation grows in the lead-up to the start of the FIFA World Cup on November 21, 2022.
"It is the first time that the tournament’s soundtrack will feature a multi-song collection, with international artists showcasing diverse musical genres that span the world, setting the tone for a truly global celebration," FIFA added.

For FIFA, the combination of breakthrough US star Trinidad Cardona, Afrobeats icon Davido and Qatari sensation Aisha captures the spirit of the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Sound strategy by bringing together inspiration from across the globe.
Meanwhile, Davido says that although the Super Eagles of Nigeria's dreams were squashed by the Ghana Black Stars, Nigeria has in one way or the other - which is through the soundtrack, found its way to this year's World Cup.
"Who dey wamba..we still qualify las las.....Naija no make am but Naija still make am," he tweeted.
Nigeria on March 29, lost to the Black Stars after a  1-1 draw at Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
Prior to the game, both teams made a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
On the other hand, social media users in reaction to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 official soundtrack have praised Davido for the success chalked and his efforts to put Nigeria on the globe.
