Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, named a 29-man squad for the upcoming international break on Tuesday, September 6.
The Black Stars will play Brazil and Nicaragua as part of preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The squad included call-ups for five out of the six players who made themselves available for selection following further talks with the Ghana Football Association.
Tariq Lamptey (Brighton), Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Stephan Ambrosius (Karlsruher) and Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer, have all received invitations after recently switching nationalities to represent Ghana.
Mohammed Salisu (Southampton), who has repeatedly turned down call-ups, has also been named in the squad.
Following the announcement of the team, Ghanaians have had several receptions to the news with some sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
