Hasaacas Ladies Football Club have announced the signing of midfielder Firdous Yakubu from Ashtown Ladies Football Club.
The buzzing midfielder joins the Hasmal Ladies from Ashtown Ladies ahead of the start of the 2022/23 Malta Guinness Women's Premier League season having played for the latter between 2015 and 2022.
Fiirdous pens a three-year deal with the Sekondi-based club which will see her be a Hasmal lady until August 2025.
The 22-year-old helped Ashtown Ladies to reach the semifinals of the 2021/2022 Women’s FA Cup losing to Hasaacas Ladies.
She scored 10 goals for Ashtown Ladies FC in the 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League.
For the 2022/2023 season, the highly-rated midfielder will don jersey number 12.
Firdous becomes Hasaacas Ladies' marquee signing ahead of the new season.
The will be looking to reclaim the league title after losing to Ampem Darkoa Ladies last season.
