Ghanaian rapper, Medikal has expressed his admiration for colleague Lyrical Joe.
The duo collaborated on Lyrical Joe’s debut album, Photo Album.
The project was released on Friday with a private listening held in Accra the night prior to its drop.

The event assembled stakeholders in the music industry including other artistes such as Medikal and Bosom P Yung who turned up to support.

As part of the programme, the Young Warlock, as he is affectionately known, teased some songs off the album.
But after Lyrical Joe screened ‘Judas’ which featured Medikal, the AMG Business signee felt the need to say a few words.

In the presence of the gathering, Medikal said he recently became a big fan of the artiste’s work.
Medikal added that he apologized for all the times he left Joe out of his Top 5 Ghanaian rapper list wherever he has been asked.
“If I have ever been placed in a spot where I have been asked to mention my Top 5 rappers, and I didn’t mention your name, I apologise for it. I listened to some of the songs and was like ‘yo’ this guy can actually rap,” he said.
Medikal called on others to support Lyrical Joe in the pursuit of preserving rap.

Meanwhile, Lyrical Joe says his ‘Photo Album’ is a way of showing the world his journey.

It is a 15-track album featuring a plethora of A-list Ghanaian musicians namely, E.L, Efya, Darko Vibes, A-Q, and Sefa.
Lyrical Joe is the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Rapper of the Year.
