Boakye Tromo Senior High Technical School has sailed through to the zonal stage of the 2023 Onga Cook Art.
They beat three other contenders in a nail-biting contest at Bechem.
At the start of the contest, expectations were high.
Contestants at Samuel Otu Presby SHS were confident of making a mark and said, 'We are taking the trophy home.'

"Action speaks louder than words, we will show you why we are called the ‘pride of Ahafo’" one of the Acherensua SHS indicated.
But representatives from Kukuo SHS maintained their silence. They were, however, confident of a victory at the end of the day.
At the end of the first round of competition, Kukuo SHS and Boakye Tromo SHTS led the contest.
The contestants then had to impress the judges with their culinary skills. They had two hours to prepare a tasty meal with leftovers.
The judges evaluated the contestants’ application of the various cooking techniques.
Failure to apply the right technique when preparing a dough, for example, meant contestants lost vital points.

It was time to announce the winners, and there was dead silence in the hall.
Samuel Otu Presby SHS came in 4th with 65 percent. Acherensua SHS placed 3rd with 69 percent. Kukuo SHS grabbed the 2nd position with 70 percent, and Boakye Tromo SHTS led with 76 percent.
"We knew we could do it. I wasn't easy, but we give God praise," excited contestants of Boakye Tromo SHTS said.
BOSTECH's victory secures them a slot in the zonal round of the 2023 Onga Cook Art Competition, scheduled to hold in May.
Each participant received souvenirs from lead sponsor Onga.
