President of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Grunsah, wants the Ghana Football Association to put on hold the final two league games of the season until the determination of a pending petition with the appeals committee.
King Faisal lost its protest against Tamale City - which they accused of fielding an unqualified player in their match day 30 encounter.
Faisal were defeated 4-0 in that game, but sought three points from the boardroom, which would have done their relegation battle a huge favor.
However, the committee dismissed the protest and said Isaac Mensah - the player in question, was qualified to play in the game.

"They should stop the league," Grunsah said to Luv Sports' Delali Atiase.
"We have to sacrifice ourselves for Ghana football to do the right thing. Am I not a human being? Do I not pay the registration fee? Do I not pay my players? They want to tie our hands, white should be white, and black, black. The Appeals committee should do the right thing."
King Faisal are currently 17th on the table and with two games left, they need six points to escape relegation.
