It has been months since the passing of Davido’s son Ifeanyi and the Nigerian musician is still grieving the loss.
Speaking on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, the ‘If’ hitmaker said that he may not show it but he tears up every morning when thoughts of Ifeanyi come to mind.
“I miss him every day,” Davido stated, adding that despite the loss he has resolved to stay strong for his family, friends and fans.
He noted that if Ifeanyi is looking down at him, he will not want his parents to be sad
“I look at myself in the mirror and I said apart from it just being about me, I know how many people love me, I know how many people are depending on me. Apart from me being strong for his mom, which is my primary responsibility, I have to be strong for the world.”

Davido and girlfriend, Chioma Rowland’s son Ifeanyi passed away in November 2022.
The Lagos State police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed details of the autopsy result stating “the autopsy was concluded yesterday; it determined that the cause of death of the late Ifeanyi Adeleke was drowning.”

The late Ifeanyi was the first son of singer, Davido and his wife Chioma Rowland. He is also Davido’s third child, as the singer has three other children, Imade, Hailey and Davidson, from three different women.
He was born on 20 October 2019 in London, United Kingdom. His third birthday was celebrated barely two weeks before his demise.
Following his death, Davido and Chioma tied the knot, the singer confirmed in another interview.
