As part of Joy FM's resolve to create awareness of the culture of periodic professional medical consultation, it will be holding the third edition of its health initiative dubbed ‘Health & Wellness Series’.
This edition will take a look at Cardiovascular Health.
The programme which will air on Monday, July 3, 2023 will host three experienced health practitioners who will shed light on the causes of cardiovascular diseases and how to manage them.
The resident doctor on ‘Drive Time on Joy’, Dr. Yaw Osafo, a specialist in Clinical Biochemistry and Metabolic Medicine will make a presentation on high blood pressure.
Dr. Yacoba Atiase, a physician specialist, diabetologist, endocrinologist will also tackle diabetes.
The third guest is Wise Chukwudi Letsa, a dietician and author who will educate listeners on dieting and cholesterol.
Joy FM’s 'Health & Wellness Series' also seeks to help the interaction between health care professionals and the people.
The programme will be hosted by Lexis Bill on Drive Time. It will transmit live on Joy 99.7 FM and stream on Facebook.
