Black Meteors midfielder, Emmanuel Essiam, has signed a season-long loan contract with Stade Lausanne Ouchy.
The 19-year-old joined the newly-promoted Swiss Super League side from giants, FC Basel. The deal does not include an option to join permanently.
A club statement said, “The young Ghanaian talent playing for FC Basel joins the Stade Lausanne Ouchy on loan without a purchase option, thus strengthening the midfield of the Lions”.
Last season at Basel, Emmanuel Essiam played 4 matches in the Super League and also appeared once in the Conference League during the impressive journey of the club to the semifinal of the competition.
This season, he has featured in three league matches, all substitute appearances.
The club also added, “FC Stade Lausanne Ouchy is pleased with Emmanuel's arrival and wishes him every success”.
