Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle, says she is convinced her side will beat Rwanda in their first 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier today, Wednesday.
The Ghana women's national team will play as visitors to Rwanda in the first leg of the first round qualifier in Kigali.
Speaking ahead of the game, Hauptle disclosed her team must make smart decisions because of the limited number of players that will be on the bench.
“We need to be smart in our decision making on the pitch with the new regulations. We are only allowed to bring 18 players with three substitutes. So it’s about who is ready and in the championship rhythm," the Swiss told the GFA.
“Those criteria are quite important to bring the squad on the pitch so we have some important substitutes on the bench so they can bring.
“We are pretty convinced that we going to win the game tomorrow with the good mood and focus  in camp."
The game will kick off at 13:00 GMT. The return fixture will be played in Ghana on September 26.
