The Ghana Premier League (GPL) saw disturbing scenes at some of its match centres over the weekend during the sixth round.
The Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex suffered heavily as fans vandalised the seats at the stadium during Nations FC's 2-2 draw with Asante Kotoko.
After the home team was handed a penalty late in the game, the visiting team's supporters ripped parts of the stadium's seats off.
Kotoko looked to be heading for all three points after Michael Kyei had given them the lead with the final whistle for the end of the game a few minutes away when Referee Abdul Latif Qadir awarded Nations FC a penalty which many deemed to be controversial.
Seats in the stands were taken off and thrown onto the pitch by the supporters as they registered their anger at the decision to award the penalty forcing the match officials to halt the game for more than ten minutes.
The home side converted successfully from the spot to tie the game at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
The scene in Kumasi was one of four hooliganism acts that took place over the weekend as there were similar situations in Dormaa, Tamale and Dawu.
