Afro-Gospel musician, Scott Evans, says he has no problem with endorsing a condom company.
Speaking to Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, the Holy Father hitmaker outlined the positives that the usage of condoms has on society.
According to him, even though most gospel musicians will desist from engaging themselves in conversations around products like condoms, he is of the view that it has a lot of positives that he and his team can preach to the world.
“I feel like there is a very good side to using condoms. The purpose of condoms is to make sure that people don’t contract sexually transmitted diseases.”
Speaking on the promiscuous lifestyle of many of the youth in Ghana, Scott Evans mentioned that it is difficult to control their sexual desires hence the need to promote the use of condoms to help them prevent contracting deadly sexually transmitted infections and diseases.
“You cannot control the sexual desires of this young generation. The only thing we can do is to make sure that they don’t get any diseases that can destroy them.
“If I am asked to stand in the gap as a brand ambassador for a condom company I will do it,” he announced.
The musician who just released his maiden EP dubbed Grace is Luxury also highlighted the fact that condoms can also be used by married people who want to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
He however reveals that he will begin to use condoms because he and his wife have decided not to have any more kids after the birth of their second child.
“My wife just had my second son and I'm done so that means from now I can use them.”
Scott Evans is one of the fast-rising gospel musicians whose works are doing well in the music industry.
Since his introduction into the music industry, he has earned nominations in various award schemes including the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
