The King of the Shatta Movement (SM) fan base, Shatta Wale, thrilled fans with an electrifying performance at the 11th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
As billed, Shatta Wale delivered more than anticipated.
The presence of the "Melissa" hit-maker on the stage changed the atmosphere as fans danced and sang along to every song he performed.
A few minutes into his performance, the dancehall singer applauded DJ Merqury Quaye, the founder of Merqury Republic, the organisers of the DJ Awards, for the incredible work done to acknowledge the efforts of DJs nationwide.
He also said a word of prayer for all disc jockeys in Ghana and beyond. "God bless all DJs; may God help all DJs to continue to promote Ghanaian music to the world; may God bless them to make more money...Amen."
Other artistes who exuded an enthralling art of performance before Shatta Wale include Dope Nation, Abiana, and Keche.
The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards is powered by Smirnoff and sponsored by Game Park Games, Virtual Sound Lab, Uniduscondoms, DSTV Akwaaba Magic, PC Entertainment, and Hooked On Entertainment.
