West Ham United manager David Moyes lauded Mohammed Kudus' role in their league game against Bournemouth on Thursday night.
The Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth at the London Stadium as their winless run was extended to five games across all competitions.
Kudus was involved in West Ham's goal which was scored by James Ward-Prowse, who converted from the penalty spot after the Ghanaian was fouled in the box.
The game against the Cherries was Kudus' first game since returning from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations where Ghana was eliminated in the group stage.
According to Moyes, being away from the team for a while affected Kudus' game but he got along with time.
"We didn’t find any rhythm to it at all," Moyes said.
"Even Mo [Kudus] coming back from the Africa Cup of Nations, it took a bit of time for him to find his level. He got us a penalty kick later on."
Kudus has six goals and an assist for West Ham in the Premier League from 11 starts since arriving in the summer.
