The Ghana Police Service has initiated an investigation into the death of a 47-year-old male adult in Ashaiman, Greater Accra Region.
The deceased, identified as Eric Baidoo, a trader, was reportedly stabbed by an assailant who is currently evading capture, on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Following the incident, the body of the deceased has been transferred to the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and further examination through autopsy.
On February 16, 2024, the Tema Regional Police Commander led a police delegation to offer condolences to the family of the deceased, assuring them of a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
Additionally, an intelligence-led operation is underway to apprehend the perpetrator(s) and ensure they face legal consequences.
