Ghanaian star sprinter, Benjamin Azamati has confirmed his participation in the upcoming African Games in March.
The 26 year old is Ghana's record holder over 100m, and will be making a much anticipated return to the track after missing out of the 2023 World Championships through injury.
The former University of Ghana sprinter is set to team up with national 200m record holder, Joseph Paul Amoah, and two others, as they seek to defend their 4x100m title they won five years ago in Rabat.
"I'm thrilled to share that I will be representing Ghana at the African Games 2023, right here in Accra," he said.
"This is a call for all of us to come out in full force and support Team Ghana," he added.
