The stage is set for the official opening ceremony of the 13th African Games, scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The opening ceremony, slated for Friday, March 8, 2024, at 3 p.m., promises to kick off in grand style, featuring a dazzling performance by top Ghanaian musicians expected to set the stage alight.
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is set to grace the opening ceremony of the 13th African Games, enthralling the audience with renditions of his hit songs.

Joining him in what promises to be a beautiful showcase of talent is none other than the 'Terminator' hitmaker, King Promise, also set to captivate the audience with his performance at the opening ceremony.
But the entertainment spectacle does not end there as South African and 'Dalie' hitmaker, Kamo Mpela, is also scheduled to set the stage alive with her chart-topping songs.
Further enhancing the beauty of the event are Ghanaian highlife legends Pat Thomas and Ebo Taylor, who are poised to make a grand appearance with their timeless classics to take patrons on a captivating Ghanaian and African musical journey.
