The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation has inaugurated a new sanitary facility within the local market premises.
The project is a significant stride towards enhancing sanitation infrastructure in the Western North Region.
The project aims to address long-standing hygiene challenges and promote a healthier environment for vendors and shoppers alike.
During the commissioning of the project, the Executive Director of GNPC, Dr. Dominic Kwesi Eduah, emphasised their commitment to supporting community development initiatives, particularly those aimed at enhancing sanitation.
He said the project underscores the foundation's dedication to fostering sustainable solutions to pressing sanitation issues and among others.
Meanwhile, some of the traders speaking to the media expressed optimism for a brighter and healthier future.
They also commended the GNPC Foundation for the sanitary facility.
