One person has been injured after a Hyundai Rhino truck crashed into a faulty stationary vehicle at Bibiani in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The accident occurred on the Bibiani–Goaso highway when the Rhino truck, with registration number AS 5632-26, collided with a broken-down Daewoo Ultra Novus truck, registration number AC 294-24, which had been parked by the roadside.

The driver of the Rhino truck, Abraham Nkrumah, said they were travelling from Sefwi Juaboso to Kumasi when the crash occurred.
He explained that he failed to detect the stationary vehicle in time, blaming the absence of a warning triangle or any visible signal to alert oncoming drivers.
According to him, six persons were on board at the time of the accident, but only his conductor sustained injuries.
The injured victim was rushed to the Divine Love Hospital for treatment.
