Hearts of Oak Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV has revealed that GH₵9m has been pumped into the construction of a new Secretariat.
In 2022, the Phobians took a step by demolishing their previous building at Asylum Down, paving the way for this new modern edifice.
During the club’s Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, Togbe Afede XIV said that the construction is nearing completion.
“This structure is also about 95% complete as at the time of this report, with about GH₵9m invested so far.
“Part of this ultra-modern edifice will be leased out to help generate revenue.”
The approach underscores Hearts of Oak's dedication to financial sustainability in the long run.
On the pitch, the team hope to return to winning ways after defeat to Samartex as they welcome Bibiani Gold Stars to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
