Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito has brushed away suggestions his side succumbed to defeat against Zamalek SC due to stage fright.
The MTN FA Cup champions were eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup following their 0-3 loss in Kumasi on Sunday, April 28.
Dreams opened a free gate for the return leg of the semi-final fixture against the Egyptian side leading to the Baba Yara Stadium being filled to capacity.
According to some comments, the large crowd at the stadium brought pressure on the Dawu-based side but Zito believes that was not the case.
"It’s not stage fright, if that was the case, it would have affected us in Cairo," said the head coach after the game.
"My boys never thought we could get into this situation. In Cairo, the atmosphere was bigger than today."
Dreams will now turn their attention to finishing the Ghana Premier League season on a high while also trying to reclaim the FA Cup title this season with a quarterfinal tie against Soccer Intellectuals on the cards.
