Nsoatreman midfielder, Abdul Manaf Umar, has credited hard work for their 2-1 MTN FA Cup semifinal victory over Legon Cities on Saturday in Sogakope.
Maxwell Konadu’s team scored twice in three minutes through Foster Apertorgor and Mohammed Abdul Rahman in the 35th and 38th minutes, respectively to go into the break with the lead.
At the hour mark, Kwaku Williams Adjei scored the consolation goal for Legon Cities, but it was not enough to force extra time.
Speaking after the game, Manaf described the game as difficult.
“It was a very difficult game and I think we worked hard and we played as a team. That's what gave us the victory.
“A semifinal is very difficult because when you win, you are going to final. So it's going to be tough unless you work hard. So we worked hard.
“That's what gave us the victory. Now we will go back and continue the hard work and we will wait for the final.”
Nsoatreman will face Bofoakwa Tano in next month’s final. Bofoakwa beat Dreams FC 2-1 in the other semifinal.
