Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate to NPP presidential candidate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 elections, has announced the party's ambitious goal to secure 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region during the December 7 elections.
At his official introduction in Kumasi, Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasised the NPP's commitment to achieving a significant victory in their stronghold.
He called on Ghanaians to honour President Akufo-Addo's leadership by supporting the NPP at the polls.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted that the NPP will launch a vigorous door-to-door campaign nationwide in preparation for the upcoming general elections.
He expressed confidence in the party's strategies to mobilize support and secure a decisive win.
“We want 85% in the Ashanti region,” he said.
“Honour President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia by voting massively to win the 2024 elections, we will do house to house campaign," he added.
