The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has extended his gratitude to personnel of the Police Service for their efforts in ensuring the safety of all individuals and property during the 45th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 6th meeting of the 2024 Africa Union Commission (AUC).
This session took place from July 17 to July 21, 2024, in Accra.
In a statement released on Monday, July 22, 2024, the IGP also expressed his appreciation to road users and commuters for their patience during the event.

"We also wish to thank all motorists, the commuting public and all other road users for your patience and cooperation during the period," an excerpt of the statement said.
