The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has acknowledged that no government is flawless and the NDC accepts its mistake.
In this regard, the former Ketu South Member of Parliament said the NDC 2024 manifesto may not be perfect but the party is poised to deliver a better future.
Speaking at the launch in Winneba on Saturday, Mr Kwetey said the manifesto contains achievable promises.
“The manifesto we’re going to present today will not be the perfect manifesto, but one thing we can promise you is the humility of the leadership, the humility of Mahama and the people who are going to work with him, so, if there are any problems, we will be able to correct them and be able to deliver for the future of the nation,” he said.
Mr. Kwetey asserted that the NDC will not be like the NPP who has failed to deliver on its promises and also failed to accept constructive criticism.
“Unfortunately, we are dealing with people who even when they are blatantly wrong, are too proud, and not humble enough to accept their wrong. They are too arrogant to move in that direction, refusing any feedback and constructive criticisms,” he added.
