Ghana Premier League debutants Vision FC began their top-flight campaign with a draw against former champions Berekum Chelsea.
Nana Kweku Agyemang's side posed the first threat within 10 minutes, but Berekum Chelsea's Zakaria cleared the danger, keeping the Bibires safe.
The match remained evenly balanced, with neither side able to break through the opposition's defence. A crucial moment came when Seidu brilliantly intercepted, denying Issah Akuka a clear chance to score after 30 minutes.
The first half ended goalless, with Zakaria and Seidu’s defensive efforts being the key highlights.
Ten minutes into the second half, Kingsley Appiah missed a golden opportunity to score, sending the ball over the bar after a layoff from Ben Tsatsu.
Both teams made tactical substitutions in an attempt to break the deadlock. Vision FC brought on Amadu for Addai, while Berekum Chelsea made a double substitution, with Adjei and Ansu replacing Awatsonya and Sarpong.
Further substitutions followed, with Nana Agyemang introducing Daniel Yemoh for skipper Kyei Baffour and Frank Duku replacing Ofori Offei. However, these changes had little effect on the game.
Berekum Chelsea, eager to secure at least a point, made two more substitutions, bringing on Awuah and Gyau for Ameyaw and Mwankurinah as they sought to withstand the pressure with two minutes to the end of the game.
In the end, neither side could find the back of the net, and the match concluded with honours shared.
