Joseph Esso struck late in the second half to secure a 2-2 draw for Dreams FC against Heart of Lions, wrapping up match week 3 of the Premier League on Monday, 23rd September 2024.
Heart of Lions opened the scoring in the 34th minute through a well-taken effort from Yaovi Chris Guede.
However, Michelle Sarpong levelled the score for Dreams FC six minutes into the second half at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.
The visitors regained the lead in the 60th minute when Christian Agyenim Boateng produced a superb finish.
But just when it seemed Lions would leave with all three points, Joseph Esso found the back of the net with only three minutes remaining to secure a hard-fought point for the home side.
Dreams FC remain unbeaten but are yet to claim a win this season, having drawn all three of their matches.
Meanwhile, Heart of Lions have collected five points from a possible nine.
